So we have learnt about Golden Retriever’s. Now it is time to learn about another dog breed. There are hundreds of dog breeds out there. Each with their own unique characteristics.

Today’s blog you will learn some fun facts about Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.

1.     The breed originated in the United Kingdom
2.     Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are one of the most popular dogs breed / pet dogs owned.
3.     They have a life span of 9-14 years
4.     The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is nicknamed “the comforter spaniel”
·      They are known for being friendly, affectionate and love cuddles.
·      They bond with their families so strongly and therefore are perfect for families and children.
·      They require a lot of human interaction

5.     Cavalier King Charles Spaniels has a silky, smooth coat that needs regular grooming. It come in different colours:
·      Blenheim (chestnut and white)
·      Tricolour (black, white and tan)

·      Black and Tan
·      Ruby

6.     They love to chase things. They often chase cars and cannot be trusted without a leash.

The Animal Squad Dogs

Hello everyone! For this blog post the Animal Squad has made a video showcasing our dogs and providing some quick facts about them. In the video making process, Austin, Darren and Nicola were tasked with recording their dogs which were the Golden Retriever, mixed breed half-Pomeranian half-Chihuahua and the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel respectively.
